Peleliu: The World’s Most Well-Preserved Battlefield was filmed in the western Pacific this past spring. The documentary focuses on the ongoing efforts to clean up Pacific islands from all the live ordnance and explosives left behind after World War II. One British organization has removed 60,000 explosives from just the island of Peleliu, which is only 15 square miles. People are still dying from WWII explosives on these islands more than 80 years after WWII ended. It’s something few in America know or generally care about. We hope to change that with this eye-opening one-hour film.
